Hi, I'm Andy!

I'm an 20 year old, 16.1 hh, Thoroughbred, Gelding, who use to be a hunter and equitation show horse on the A circuit.  I walk, trot, canter and jump up to 3'.  I'm quiet and willing, I love my job but hate to be left alone in the pasture.  I have known Spot and Robyn since I was 3 years old!

I love my job as a lesson horse at Great Escape and carrots and apples and peppermints and every other kind of horse treats.

Greetings little riders (and big ones too)!

I'm Tazz a 14 year old, 15.3 hh Grade, Gelding.  That means I'm a mix of various breeds, every one says I look like Smokey only a lot smaller.  I use to go to dressage shows and I have been trained to jump as well.  I also love trail rides with an equine friend.  I love riders of all ages and teaching all my riders how to steer.

Spots my name, eating's my game!  I love to eat.....grass, hay, treats out of your pocket you name it and I'll sniff it out and eat it.  I teach leadline lessons when I'm needed but am mostly retired.  I'm an old friend of Andy's and Robyn's.  I'm blind in one eye so my riders and handlers help me out around the barn and I like having a buddy close by.  I follow voice commands like "trot Spot" while being ridden and like the occasional trail ride with a helpful and careful rider.  I'm in my late 20's, I'm about 14.1 hh and I'm a Leopard Appy!

I'm Gus and I'm 11 years old.  I'm a 16.3hh, Thoroughbred, Gelding.  I'm really a boarder horse but I give lessons too!  I'm a lazy walk, trot, canter horse and teach basic jumping.  I love to jump big jumps too but sometimes get too excited for my own good and cut my comers so my mom says only teaching over cross poles till riders have good jump steering!

I'm in love with Hunter and go to shows with him during the summer when I'm not helping with day camp.  I love to eat treats and going out in my pasture.

Oh you are...well in that case I'm Buddy!  I use to be a boarder horse but recently joined the lesson program full time as my owner has moved up to a new pony.  I'm a Welsh/Halflinger cross and I'm 14hh.  I'm 18 years old and know my job....to make my rider ride me.  I love to be sneaky when my riders let me like cutting corners, finding my way to the center of the ring or around a jump.  I can teach riders how to walk, trot, canter and jump.  I'm very laid back and like the rest of my buddy's at GES love treats.

Some one put the wrong name on my picture, that's odd.  My mom calls me Pumpkin, not H-u-n-t-e-r.  Either way I'm a 20 year old, Warmblood/Paint cross, gelding.  I have a long background in dressage and jumping as well as being a backyard and trail horse.  My mom, Beth, is the stable manager at GES and has worked hard to retrain me as a hunter/jumper horsey.  I love to jump, as high as I can, about 3', and go to shows.  We did very well last year in our Hunter & Equitation classes.  I'm not a lesson horse but have done a few here and there.  I love Gus, treats (my mom gets the good kind) and sleeping.

Hi I'm PB!

I'm 7 years old and about 14hh.  I walk, trot (sometimes) and canter around.  I have also been working on my jumping skills, I really LOVE to jump.  I can trot cross-pole and vertical courses with ease and am learning to canter consistantly around all my courses.  I love to me groom and I love treats.  I'm great at giving that first ride to a beginner or teaching a rider to jump correctly.  One of my favorite activites is trail rides, there's nothin better then strolling down a lone country road checking out the neighborhood!!

Hi I'm KaLi!

I'm 12hh of redheaded pony mare!  I'm feisty with the geldings but gentle with my riders.  I have some get up and go when you ride me but stick with me kid and I'll take care of you! 

I love everything, my food, the pasture, Tazz, treats, pats & hugs.  I'm very alert to all that goes on.  I'm 13 years old and have been there done that. I walk, trot, canter, gallop, jump and could even take you to a show!

Oliver that's me! I'm an 8 year old Thoroughbred, gelding and just moved into Great Escape Stables in Feb. 2010. Natalie is my new mom and she says we are going to be show buddies.  I love my job, I like cantering and jumping the best.  I have also been trail ridden and did some hunter paces as my previous owner liked fox hunting.  I'm very brave and have a heart of gold.  I know my name and come when you call me in the pasture.  I also like to nibble things like hair, zippers, lead ropes or whatever might be close so keep an eye on your stuff.

I'm Smokey and my roots go back to the deep south!  I'm a Georgian Grande.  I'm almost 17 hh and gray.  My current job is as a dressage horse and I'm not sure about all this on-the-bit, top-line, suppleness stuff.  I'm a former trail horse and still like to go out for a hack down the dirt roads here at GES.  I love treats especially sugar cubes and Andy is my new best friend.  I have very big, thundering strides and only give lessons on rare occasions as I too am a boarder horse.

Do you have something for me? I always check to see what is going on around me I'm a fairly inquisitive little horse who is super sweet and cuddly.  I'm a 6 year old, appendix quarter horse.  I like to go fast and am working to improve my work ethic.  I love to jump and have also been trained to drive a cart as well as go on trails.  Hannah is my new mom and we are going to start showing together!  I'm young but curious and willing.  Hannah and I make a good team!

My name is Max I'm a 15.3 hh, TB gelding.  I have quite a varied history before coming to my current family.  When I was 4 or 5 years old I was a race horse and made someone quite a bit of money with my speed.  Then I was retrained with dressage and jumping.  I spent some time at a hunt club in western Michigan and then found my way to an owner who just wanted to walk along trails with me.  Which was ok but I prefer to have a more exciting job. 

Chloe, my new mom, is wonderful! We canter and jump together like it was meant to be.  She feeds me lots of treats, is making me fat and give me plenty of exercise.

I spend my days eating grass with Spot and enjoying my home at Great Escape.  I'm friendly and love attention.  Chloe says someday soon we will be horse showing!!
