Arrival: Dec. 2012
Hi! I'm Freddy!
I'm a 15.3 hh paint and I love to investigate EVERYTHING.......mostly with my muzzle and mouth! I'm very friendly and love attention.  Martha is my new mom and she's great! I'm teaching her about cantering and jumping as well as how to take care of me.

Before coming to my new home at GES I was owned by the same person since I was 2 years old.  They showed me in hand as a 2 year old and once I was trained to walk/trot/canter we did several open and dressage shows together.  I was also taught basic jumping.  Now I have started my career as a Hunter/Jumper horse for Martha.

I have made lots of new friends at GES and can't wait to experience all the new adventures that await me!
Come visit me!!

Please note our horses for leases are for "In-Barn" lessoning riders. Some horses are currently leased, please inquire if interested.

Arrival: Dec. 2015

Meet Alex!
He just turned 6 in 2015 and is a solid chestnut Paint build like a Warmblood. I'm very personable when it suits me and I have a lot of power (under saddle that is).  My mom Madina and I are figuring out this together.  She has more experience then I do.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to jump but am still figuring out the whole balance and pace thing......I mean just run and go over them right?? I'm also learning about horse shows and how to settle into a routine with my new life here at GES. Formerly I was used for some western riding and then started with my Hunter/Jumper training with my previous owner.

If I'm in my stall when you come to the barn you will know where to find me because I'm the one pawing at my door! Don't forget about me!!
Arrival: Nov. 2015
HI!
I'm a playful guy who is so glad to have friends at GES. I didn't have any before coming here so turnout time was kinda booooorrrrring! Now I have all sorts of friends to play with! I'm also learning the ropes of showing with my mom who has been riding longer then I've been around!

We get to do some local shows and I'm learning how to go to the bigger A shows and not let my ADD kick in.  I have dressage in background and was a race horse back in the day.......check out my cool tattoo.
I also do tricks.....my mom taught be how to smile and I stick out my tongue!

See ya round the barn!
Arrival: July 2017

My name is Captain! I am a 4 year old Quarter Horse who previously belonged to a 7 year old and was in basic training at a dressage barn. I found out I love to jump though! I've been in jump training since July 2017 and went to my first Jumper show in Jan. where I was reserve champion. I'm really hopping to become a well rounded guy as I can jump small courses, do a bit of dressage and can go western!

I enjoy trail rides and have been ridden by my mom's husband as well as some lesson students! I tend to be kind of lazy but can get frisky from time to time.  I'm very laid back and just kind of take life as it comes.

Come hang out with me and we can go for a trail ride!

Arrival: Aug. 2016

My name is Monty! I'm from Canada and just got to the United States in August of 2016. I was born in 2007 and lived most of my life as a dressage horse. I started jumping a few years ago and then did a couple of jumper shows in Canada with a teenager. My new mom here in Michigan is teaching me how to slow down and be a hunter like the rest of the lazier warmbloods......I mean I am kinda lazy but not when I'm jumping just when they want me to be not lazy on contact......I'd rather be grazing.

I like showing too but that makes me sleepy, I love laying down at shows and taking long naps.......and putting shavings in my braids. I didn't get turned out much before coming to GES so I liking being able to run around with my friends all day especially Hunter & Alex......someone said we were trouble makers but I'm not so sure....I mean I didn't do it.

I'll also take treats of any kind *Yum Yum*
