Team Building & Leadership Development through Equine Assisted Learning
All equines naturally need a leader due to heard dynamics. When working with horses the handler must be a proficient leader demonstrating respect, presence and consistency or the horse will get mixed messages thus becoming untrusting. Horses are always 100% honest, they do what we ask or what we allow. Horses inherently will let you know when something is or isn't working. They will also give you clue as to how to fix a problem if you are attentive.
Through Great Escape Stables "Team Building" sessions Participants work with horse on the ground to learn about reading body language, non-verbal ques and effective ways to communication to work through and solve problems. Each participant will learn how their leadership style, listening and processing abilities and participation in teamwork assists in everyone's success!
Like people, horses are individuals, and they will respond differently to different people and different personalities. Learning to communicate clearly, thinking outside to the box, problem solving, inclusion and body awareness are all important when working with horses. Horses are great at reading people's subtle, non-verbal cues, from their mannerisms and posture to their emotional state and assertiveness.
No horse experience required, we will teach you! We have indoor and outdoor space for our programs.
Half - day: Up to 4 hours -

Includes:
- Instruction in safety, basic horse behavior and ques that are applied to 3 to 4 team building and bonding activities.
- Participants are split into small groups for each activity, given basic instructions and the end goal. Great Escape Stables staff guides them through the process incorporating why the horse is responding the way they are, reading a horses body language, effective communication with each other and encourage out of the box thinking to achieve each activity's goal.

Full - day: Up to 7 hours -
$250 per person, up to 20 people (please contact us for larger groups)
Includes:
- Instruction in safety, basic horse behavior and ques that are applied to various team building and bonding activities. Morning actives will include extensive work with understanding horse behavior, body language and 4 to 5 teambuilding exercises. The afternoon session will focus on individual exercises to improve their leadership, teamwork and communication skills one on one with horses. The last hour of this session is wrapped up with a round table discussion of the days activities with Great Escape Stables staff/instructors and all program participants.
