Equine Enrichment Classes
Need an outdoor activity this fall or a supplemental program to go with your virtual or homeschooling during the day?
Have kids who would love to learn about horses and life in the barn?

Great Escape Stables is offering Equine Enrichment classes for the fall of 2020!

~Classes are held Thursday's from 1pm to 2pm (9/17/2020 through 11/19/2020) 
~Cost is $20 per class OR $150 for all 10 weeks.
~Space is limited to 6 openings each week. Pre-registration & payment is required.
        Additional classes maybe available if registration warrents.
~Classes are open to all students age 6 and older.
~Classes will cover topics such as:
        Basic & advanced grooming, vet care/health care, nutrition, safety, tack, stable management, horse colors/breeds/confirmation/body parts and more. 
        Each class will be approx. 20 mins of "classroom" style learning, 30 mins. of hands on practical application and then 10 mins. of review and wrap up.
~Students need to be comfortable in an outdoor environment and dress appropriately for each class (long pants, close toed shoes, weather appropriate top, jacket/hat etc. in cooler weather). 
*Please note this program is separate from our regular lesson program, students do not need to have horse or riding experience to attend classes*

TO REGISTER: Email robyn@greatescapestables.com include your name/email/phone number, your students name/age & the dates you would like to attend. If you would like to tell us a little about what you are looking to get out of the Equine Enrichment class that would be helpful as well. 
Once we have your emailed registration, we will send a confirmation email. An invoice will be sent via PayPal for the class total. OPEN the PayPal invoice and read it over (we accept cash/check/credit card) and make sure to remit payment by the due date to keep your students spot.

Mandatory COVID Precautions: Classes will be held outside or in the barn (large open spaces, easy to keep 6' or more between students). Masks are required, as is personal hand sanitizer. Students will not be sharing items. Touch points are disinfected regularly at the barn. Students are welcome to wear gloves. There is a hand washing station as well as a bathroom available.
